How has your CSM helped you?

We all love our CSMs (Community Success Managers). If you are new to the community, they can assist you in a variety of ways. I was hoping to get community feedback on what your CSM has done in the past that helped you utilize Karbon better? Maybe we can all get a better idea of what a CSM can do. Add and access organization address, phone number, and email address via API

Organizing emails

I am wondering if there is a feature to add a label to emails so that I can organize them according to specific categories so they do not all get lost in the “clear” area. I know there is the option to add the email to Work orders and Client Portfolios but I am wondering how to organize emails outside of these features. Please let me know 😊

Assignment Screen in My Week?

I have seen several references to an assignment screen in My Week. I don’t seem to have this feature. (unless I am just missing it - highly possible) Is this a beta testing feature?If this allows you to see only items currently assigned to you, I will kiss a designer. I have wanted that feature since My Week was introduced. I have at least one task on every piece of work in our firm. My My Week is ridiculous and hard to use since most of the items in it are not assigned to me.

Why does the work sit in ‘to Plan’ when it is complete. Why doesn’t it automatically ‘move to done’ or can you do a bulk move?

Account Analysis ideas?

Hi all! Our firm has been acquiring recent clients who need their books cleaned up quite a bit. We’re in the process of developing an accounting analysis process and am having a somewhat difficult time finding resources/inspiration. Does anyone have some thoughts/resources they’d like to share? Has anyone created their own account analysis template through Karbon?

"Other" Work Type in MyWeek

I noticed that in My Week work is categorized by work type, but sometimes there’s an “Other” category. “Other” includes a variety of different work, and in our case, it is not because of Default work types. Can someone explain why (or How) My Week chooses which work types each colleague is able to filter by- seemingly regardless of how much work they have to do in that category?

Connect to client QB

On a clients detail page, it says connected applications and then manage connections. When you click that it says you need a log in to thier QB in order to make the connection. If you are under thier QB as an Accountant, can I just use my accountant log in?

Deleting Repeating Work

When deleting the next repeating work item (lets say Q2 on a quarterly repeat) after Q1 is completed , will this delete future repeats for the item or is there another step to turn off the repeating item

Recent work tagged not appearing in a shortlist.

Where has the recently used work items gone from the tagging section? Historically when i have tagged something to a work, then tagged a second item to a different work, if i needed to tag a third item to the first work used there was a shortlist of recent items selected, this has now disappeared so i have to type in the name of the work every time.

Productivity Reporting

Hello, What is the best way to pull productivity reports from Karbon? Is it only in the timesheet function this can be done? Also, with charge out rates how they are defined by roles, I understand working out an average but with the rates varying so much, what do you suggest is best to ensure team members are meeting their KPI’s based on fees/charge out rates.

What can go in the description when adding an organization with the API?

I’m working on a little script to clean up some bad data and I noticed there are keys in the description field:This makes me think there are other types of data we can put in the description field. Just curious. 😁cc: @StuartK

Triage not syncing? (May 10 2023)

Is anyone else having issues with their email (in this case Gmail) not syncing to Triage? It’s just after 4pm Pacific and emails from at least from roughly an hour ago (right around 3:15 pacific) haven’t been syncing into my triage. Is this a known issue? If not.. are there any fixes? I’ve already restarted my browser (Chrome)

Preview Pane for Triage?

Does anyone know if there is the possibility of a preview pane in Triage. Maybe where the most recent email is open so I don’t need to click to expand every single email. It would save clicks. Perhaps there is a setting I don’t know about that allows for a preview pane @Craig Lohman
