KPI workbook data only updated once a day

It is a big issue for us that the data we can see in the KPI workbooks only updates once daily… this is specifically relevant when we are reallocating work budgets, and would like to make the changes and see the updated report. Any comments or suggestions?

Way to deliver financials as tax return without the client needing to complete the task?

We currently deliver tax returns and financials as a client task template work item. However, this requires the client to mark it complete once downloaded. Some may prefer to let it sit in their portal and not even look at it at all. I don’t love having so many outstanding client tasks as open or overdue. Is there a way to deliver monthly financials through the portal in a way that doesn’t require the client to complete it as if it’s a task?

Is it possible to assign to a Team instead of just to a Colleague?

Is it possible to assign to a Team instead of just to a Colleague? We have a few different Teams, for a mix of Client Teams, Department Teams etc. and it would be helpful if emails or tasks could be assigned to the Team as a whole instead of the individual (to start). This process happens already in some cases using the Team Tag. However, would work better with our processes if tasks or Work could be assigned to a Team (think repeat work/task creation) then can be assigned to the individual from here.

Is there a way to add a “Client Owner” to multiple clients without going into each client individually? Can you make Client Owner & Partner the same on multiple clients?

KPI - All work (in all statuses) per person, by Budget assigned

We are trying to see our work, by Budget assigned, whether Completed or not. Resource Planning workbook seems to exclude Completed work. We cannot use the usual Work Dashboard, since this only shows total budget based on the work Assignee, while we would like to see it per Budget assigned (all the Budget assigned to me, not only the work items for which I am currently the work Assignee). In summary, I need ALL my work, for the current month, regardless of Status, and per work budget, not work assignee.Can anyone assist, please?

Best Practice to capture notes

I am curious on how everyone captures notes during an unexpected phone call or meeting? We use google docs to take notes and then add them to our client’s timeline, but I struggle when a client calls and I do not have our note section open. I end up writing it on a piece of paper and that does not always get attached to the karbon work for me colleagues to see. What are some options that you use?

Deadlines for repeats can't be configured more than 2 months after start date - glitch?

I love the idea of Karbon’s recently introduced feature of being able to add external deadlines to repeating work - my firm is based in Canada, and especially for corporate tax engagements I’d like to set external filing deadlines on all repeats (which fall 6 months after the company’s year-end, although internally we target earlier deadlines).I’m having trouble configuring this - essentially when I’m setting up the repeat details for a work piece and I select the last Deadline menu option so that it will fall on “Day of (2nd, 3rd, ...) month after start month” (pictured below), I don’t get the second selection menu that normally pops up afterwards when I use this same option for setting internal deadlines that allows me to configure the month. I.e. this option seems to currently be hard-coded to the 2nd month after start date because I can’t seem to select any other month. Is this a glitch, or am I just doing something wrong here? I’ve done the usual troubleshooting: PC reboot, trying

I want to set up a quarterly ‘optional’ checklist for clients with one reminder and then close the checklist after 14 days. Is this possible?
