Approval Task - Client Rejection

The approval task has excellent functionality. However, watching the video post, there was no explanation of the “not-so-happy path” that led to the Client's rejection of the approval. They may even have comments or questions about the request or the attached documentation. Is there functionality within the approval task to capture such actions and create a centralized audit trail associated with that specific approval task when modifications are needed? If so, where and how?

Not receiving emails on time

I’m writing in frustration that Karbon seems to be very slow in receiving emails. We use gmail and there’s usually a 20-30min delay from when we see the emails in gmail and when it shows up in Karbon. The main reason we use Karbon is for the triage function. So this kind of delay is very poor. Does anyone else have similar issues?

Hi all, I trust everyone is having a good day! With implementing Karbon, we want to create a “portal” where team member can post pain points, wins, learnings, etc regarding Karbon in order for us to help with the post-implementation process. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to facilitate this in Karbon?My thoughts were to create a Contact where everyone has access to & then they just post notes to that contacts timeline. Looking forward to your feedback :)

Just a thought but we have lots of clients on different software that they use to do their books like Quickbooks, Xero and some old school like spreadsheets, paper records etc. Would it please be possible to pass onto your team to see if they would add on a field where we could add what software the client uses. This is extremely useful when I’m chasing a client as if they use Xero I only need a few documents whereby if I knew they used spreadsheets, I need a lot of backup paperwork for that. Thanks

How Can I Stay Updated on Karbon Through My Mobile Phone?

I’m looking for the best way to stay on top of everything in Karbon through my mobile phone. Is there a dedicated Karbon app for this? I recently downloaded the Karbon app, but it feels quite limited compared to the desktop version. It’s not showing everything I need, like my tasks for today and the week. I also want to receive notifications from Karbon directly on my phone so I can stay updated in real-time on my work. How can I achieve this? Any tips or best practices for managing Karbon on the go would be greatly appreciated! This should clearly convey your question and the issues you’re encountering to the Karbon community.

How to budget time for non-billable work

What is the best way to budget time for non-billable work, i.e., provide a time allocation for colleagues that will be doing non-billable work? E.g. are internal management, internal projects, etc. I know one can reduce their capacity, but that is a bulk setting per colleague. So if the non-billable work is only for one or two months, the capacity across other time periods will be incorrect.

Timesheet - "Q1-Auto Lock on Daily", and "Q2-Filling up timesheet after completion of each WORK."

Q1: In Karbon, being an organization, we provide the access to all our staff to fill up their DAILY TIMESHEET at the end of the day, which helps us to identify how many hours are worked by each staff. Further, at current they are having access to the timesheet for the PREVIOUS DAY, so it’s been noticed that they are filling up the timesheet just before the month's end for SALARY purposes (instead of daily), so IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET an “AUTO LOCK” TIMESHEET ON a “DAILY BASIS” SO THEY CAN HAVE HABIT TO FILLUP TIMESHEET ON DAILY BASIS BEFORE THEY LEFT HOME? IN THIS CASE, THEY WON’T BE ABLE TO ADD TIMESHEET FOR THE PREVIOUS ANY DAY, THEY HAVE TO APPROACH TO THEIR REPORTING MANAGER TO GET ENTERED OR ELSE WILL BE COUNT AS LEAVE FOR THAT DAY. Q2: in Karbon, is it possible that as and when any staff is changing the status of any WORK to COMPLETED or sending for further REVIEW of WORK, then does Karbon have a system to “AUTO REMIND” users to add their TIMESHEET for completed work on the spot?

Weekly Payroll

Hi. What is the best way to deal with weekly or bi-weekly payroll? Our current system, that we are moving away from, groups each weekly payroll under one month (so in Karbon, this would mean a task for each week, under a single work item). However, this does not seem viable in Karbon, considering the required task due dates (every Friday). Will we need a work item for every week?

Email Signature logo hyperlink not working

We are trying to copy over our logo from outlook signature to karbon email signature but the logo is not clickable as the hyperlink does not copy over. Is their a fix for this?
