Zap Task Usage Using Webhooks and API

Hi!We have started testing and creating Zaps using Zapier Webhooks and the Karbon API and were wondering if anyone has an idea around how many tasks the Zap would use or examples of Zaps that would use too many tasks when using webhooks just so we don’t go over our task limit?For reference, the zap in testing would be to get a list of clients from Karbon and update the information in HubSpot to match the client information in Karbon.Thank you in advance for your responses!

Is there a link (that can be referenced) between an organisation client and a person?

I am trying to link Karbon and ignition, via Zapier so that I can set up a new client in Ignition when the status of a Karbon organisation changes to ‘send proposal’.The problem I run into is that I can easily pick up the change of status and filter this in Zapier so it only changes on a specific status but Ignition needs both an organisation name and a person name in order to set up a new client. I have found no way to link the organisation in Karbon to any directors that I have associated with it, despite the person record appearing under the organisation in Karbon. There doesn't appear to be any link that I can reference although one must exist in order for it to appear in the organisation record.Any help around this problem is appreciated, thank you

Email - High Importance

Anyone know a way to mark an email being sent as high importance. There are times when we need a client to see an email immediately and have no way of flagging it as important.

Email view of previous emails in thread

Hi all I am looking for a setting to help me ‘flip’ my mail view in Karbon. In outlook, all old mails in the same mail thread lie under the newest/ current email, but in Karbon it’s the other way around (old mails in the thread lie above the current/ newest mail). Is there any way to change this around to match the outlook format or are we confined to one email view?Thanks!

Items automatically removed from done after 60 days

Hi guyI saw a note that said items automatically removed from done after 60 days, would this only be completed work or incomplete work as well?

Deleting duplicate contacts

I was using Zapier to import contacts to start up but it kept failing. Then overnight it worked but in the meantime Karbon imported them for me. Now I have multiple copies of every contact. When I try to merge or delete them nothing happens. Is there some magic trick?

Changing the send date for Client Request

Hello! Just want to ask if it’s possible to change the send date of a client request? For context, the setting in our work item is that the tasks and budget will be created 1 day before the work starts. If the work starts on a Monday, the tasks and budget will be created on Sunday. The very first section in that work item is a Client Request section, which gets sent out every Monday. We need to change the send date from Monday to Tuesday. Is there somewhere in the setting where we can change this, or do we have to create another work item that will be set up wherein the Client Request section will be sent out on Tuesdays? Thank you!

I’ve been experiencing an issue where, when I send emails through Karbon using my Gmail account, my email signature doesn’t get attached to the emails. I’m unsure why this is happening and would appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this issue. How can I ensure that my email signature is always attached, even when sending emails through Karbon?

Karbon billing for previous hours (HELP)

We have 4 years of time data in Karbon, but we would like to use the Karbon invoicing features. We can’t because there is no way to filter by time entry date or BULK update prior period time entries. @karbon leaving money on the table by not giving us the ability to do this. What is the solution?

Can I set tasks in work items to custom statuses?

I’m working on a work template that requires automators to do different things based on the status of a specific task. I got the whole template set up and went to add the automator: (if the status of the task is “Priority 1”, mark Section 2 as “ready to start”) but it only lets me select one of the default five task statuses for the automator. I’ve already gone into workflow settings and made sure that my custom task type has “task status” enabled for my custom statuses, and I’ve even tried editing the default work type to try and get my automator to accept the custom statuses, but nothing worked. As a potential workaround I tried to set the automator so it was based on the status of the whole work item and not the status of the task, and that worked fine and let me select my custom status. But this workaround could cause other problems in the future and I would much rather it be based on the status of the task. Does anyone know if there’s a way to fix this issue?
