Copying and pasting into Karbon

A recent problem but I can no longer paste into emails on Karbon. I have tried Ctrl V, right clicking and selecting paste or paste as plain text, it just does nothing. Other Ctrl functions for copy, bold etc work fine and I can paste into comments on Karbon and systems outside of Karbon. Has anyone else experienced this or any advice how to fix? Thanks

How to view Overdue TASKS

Has anyone found a way to be able to view overdue TASKS for the whole practice? Not overdue Work, I’ve got that, but I haven’t been able to view overdue tasks and haven’t found an answer to this in the Karbon community yet.

Print TO DO list or WORK List

Hello:Is there a way to print the TODO list without using the conventional browser print feature (it only prints what’s on the screen)?  A way to export the list based on the filter to a PDF or EXCEL file would be helpful.  Some of us need a sheet of paper to cross things off of!  This would be helpful to have the feature in the WORK modulue as well. Thoughts??? js

Access to the Template (In-house &) Library

Karbon Community Team!I’m trying to grant access to my employee so that he can help me work on templates. I had no idea that he did not have access! I went into Settings > Profile > Permissions.As a standard user, I would have expected him to have access to Work > Templates…. with the goal of helping me create and improve my templates. Do I really need to make him an admin user to achieve this?@max

Client Task Error

I have updated a client contact email.  When I sent a client task to the new email I am getting the following error: Validation error for client Task Group with [clientTaskGroupPermaKey=4qd3fLsQvJPk] for tenant with [tenantPermaKey=8nLJnwZYFc8] Does anyone know the fix for this error?  I have followed up and tested the email outside of the client task and it is a valid email. Thank youRhonda ZlatanovskiGBA LLP

Triage Search Not Working

Is anyone else having issues where searching for a work item in triage (e.g., trying to attach an email thread to a work item) doesn’t work? Most of the time I try to add an email to a work item the item doesn’t show up -- I just get a blank search area.I reached out to support and they acknowledged this is a problem on their end, but it’s been 3 weeks now and no resolution. This is crippling the highest value tool Karbon has to offer.As you can see, it’s not returning a ‘no results found for…’ message, rather, I get this:[Karbon Search Error]

Productivity Tracking

Hey All, I am hoping to gain insight into tracking team member productivity. Within Work insights, it is very work item oriented. We are very task focused and our work items pass from person to person based on the amount of steps necessary (tax prep, bookkeeping, advisory, etc) so it is not the best place to look to see how much a team member is or is not producing.We would like to see something that can show the amount of tasks completed over a period of time, how many of those were completed on time, and how many of them were re-assigned and completed by someone else. We would like to be able to sort by team member, by client, and by work type.We do not use time entries whatsoever because we found that it often became a time suck itself to make sure people were completing time sheets as well as them not being entirely accurate.Has anyone been successful inside of Karbon or using something else as a compliment to Karbon to track productivity through tasks?Thanks for any input. -Jarett

Comments on a section with multiple tasks

Hi,We had clients complaining that when they receive an email that they have comments, they are not able to see which of the tasks has the new comment, they need to check each of them to see where it is. I’m wondering if any of you have the same issue and you go about it. Thank you

Team Exporting Work Report

Hi All.Currently I’m the only admin user of Karbon - Everyone else is on standard permissions. However I want the team to be able to export work reports without having admin rights.Is there a way to achieve this?

Tasks in Blank Work Item via API

We are building out some automation in our firm with Python and the Karbon API and we are a bit stuck… We are creating blank Work items, ideally without using a template, and want to add a variable number of tasks to that Work item. However, it’s not readily apparent in the API documentation how to add a task under a Work item. Does anybody have any experience with this that can point me in the right direction? Or, is this simply a case where we need to accomplish this by calling Work templates and molding our automation to fit what we can accomplish with tickets? Thanks!

Having trouble with Search

I’m having a problem with search not finding anything. In a Client Request I wrote, “what is the charge for DoubleTree Hotel.” Now, when I go to search and type in Doubletree, nothing shows up under the work section. Are client requests not searchable?

Error: Client task email failed to sent

The tasks in section ‘Business Activity Statement - Information Request’ did not send. Check the sender’s email account is connected to Karbon.This request will auto retry. To send now, choose ‘Resend Client Tasks’ from the menu on the Client Request Section. This is showing up in my triage. Client confirmed they haven't changed the email

Sending client emails from Task page - no client checklist needed

I would like to send an email and attachment from the Task and workflow area.In this case, I don’t need a client checklist or for it to change the status of the work. I want the client to be able to quickly forward a simple attachment to an advisor/lawyer.Can this be done?

Onboarding Template for Gusto Clients

Hi there! I’m new to using Karbon, and I’m also a new business owner. I only offer payroll services through Gusto, and I am wondering if anyone has any advice on best practices for a client onboarding template related to onboarding a Gusto client?
