Client Task Error

I have updated a client contact email.  When I sent a client task to the new email I am getting the following error:

 

Validation error for client Task Group with [clientTaskGroupPermaKey=4qd3fLsQvJPk] for tenant with [tenantPermaKey=8nLJnwZYFc8]

 

Does anyone know the fix for this error?  I have followed up and tested the email outside of the client task and it is a valid email.
