I can’t see Client Team section in Contact Settings? 🤔 Hi Sam. Do you mean the additional fields? That is currently in a beta, so if you aren’t in the beta it won’t be there for you.

Email task in a work template

A work template doesn’t have a concept of a timeline or somewhere to store the draft email, so this isn’t possible at the moment. The intention is for you to be able to set up the email task and then when ready, hit create draft and send the email to the right contact (as a template could be for many different clients). Circling back to this @Amelia Freeman, we’ve found a bug related to the use of email templates in email tasks. We’ve created a work template that has an email task that uses an email template. When the work template is used to create a work item, it appears that the email template is assigned correctly. However, when “create draft” is clicked in the work item, the email template does not appear to be connected. Rather, it simply inserts “null” into the email draft. In order to get it to work correctly, one has to click the edit button and re-select the email template (that is already selected). Please let me know if more information is needed to resolve this e

Send Client Requests to multiple clients, Karbon AI and bulk work creation

For anybody now worried about Karbon spamming their clients if you leave a comment on more than one task in a Client Request - please vote here: Hi Sam Thank you for the feedback. This is not related to the ability to send a client requests to multiple people and is existing behaviour (the system has always sent a comment email per client task).

Not a fan at all of the My Week ‘Tasks awaiting assigned automators’ change. I had spent weeks on a workaround using automators so that work did not appear in colleagues My Week until it assigned to them, and this has undone all of that. Why can’t we have a setting where colleagues don’t see stuff in their My Week at all until it’s with them? We spend so much time clearing jobs, it seems pointless. Not one person at our office wants to see work that is upcoming. It creates too much noise and distraction. Hi Imbi This change would not have changed how this worked for you. We have just changed the wording of the status as previously it showed ‘all tasks reassigned’. There is no logic change. However, items shouldn’t appear in your My Week until the tasks are assigned for the first time (or the work is assigned to you) via the automator. If you had tasks via the automator, completed them and have more to come via an automator, the message will display.

Can individuals within a firm have the option to use the old triage while some use new? Hi @Ashliegh Evelyn we won’t be supporting the old Triage when the new Triage is out, so all users will have it. However, we will not be releasing the new Triage until our beta customers are happy and we are confident it is better than the existing one.

Google Drive Integration

Hi @drich208The change to our roadmap was simply a case of resourcing and balancing between new features that we know will have the largest positive impact on the most customers. We know that a lot of you use GDrive—when we last surveyed our customers on this it was just over a quarter who use GDrive for document management. When we weighed this up against other planned features and functionality that will benefit most, if not all customers, we unfortunately haven't been able to fit this into the short term. Like all feature requests though, we're constantly monitoring interest and do hear your need for this. Building this integration is a matter of when, not if.

Shared Mailboxes in Karbon

Hi Karbon Karbon community! I have a release date of 6th April for shared triage, has this been rolled out to anyone yet? We can’t see it on our Karbon and no news in Product release! Thank you for your feedback on Reminders and Shared Triage. Shared Triage is a solution for shared emails, rather than being able to share your personal triage. In the future we would love to build this feature (Delegate Triage) but it is not currently on the roadmap. I definitely encourage everyone to vote on the idea so we can look at prioritising delegate triage in the future.

Great features are coming! Thank you Karbon! I have two follow-up questions. For reassigning work items in bulk, Will we be able to reassign repeating work as well? For example, if a team member leaves and we currently don't have any open work items but we do have repeating work schedules, will we be able to update this? For approvals - Will this have regular signatures like DocuSign? Hi David If it’s the work assignee for the schedule, that will need to be updated on the schedule itself. Being able to update schedules in bulk is something we’d like to explore as well.

Rename email account display name in Shared Triage You can now change the display name of an email account after connecting it in Shared Triage, directly from Karbon. To update the email account display name, in the Shared Triage Settings page, click the three dots next to the email account you want to update. Once renamed, this is the name your clients will see when you email them from Karbon. Does this change the display name the recipient of emails from this triage sees, or is this just an internal display renaming for users of the triage within Karbon? Hi Max. It will change both for future emails. So what you see in Karbon and what your clients will see when you email from Karbon. If you email from your native provider, it will be the previous name, so if you do want to update the name I would update it in both places.

Great work Karbon, I really like the Improved email contact search. Are we able to get the suggestions (ie linked contacts) on the Cc field as well like it is on the main email address field? We have a lot of clients that want Cc’s and at the moment the ‘linked/suggested’ contacts only work on the main email address field, so when Cc’ing a client you still have to sift through the entire database of emails (which is easier now with the latest update, but still a bit cumbersome) Hi Ryan. By suggestions, is this the smart suggestion list that appears only on timelines?
