Hello, everyone. I’m Kim Nixon, Director of Operations for Peters, Johnson, Staley & Co. CPAs. I run the day-to-day operations of our accounting firm. I like having my hands in every corner of the business. It keeps my job interesting and every day I deal with something new. My favorite hobby is reading fiction. I also really love DIY, home improvement everything. I watch HGTV and am constantly fixing stuff around the house. My favorite show is This Old House. Nice to meet you all!

What you do - I'm the Outsourced Accounting Lead. I help a business with a better financial view of their business by getting their books up to date, compliant, and set up in a way that provides meaningful financial data.
Favorite aspect of your job - I love working with different people, helping them to be more confident personally and professionally with the help of sustainable technology.
Favorite hobby to do outside of work - jogging, watching NetFlix documentaries, hiking and farming.
Fun fact about yourself - I studied accountancy but with a heart in aviation and the farming industry. To date, my favorite documentaries are about aviation, while farming is my passion outside of work.

Has anyone out there figured out how to print a route sheet? We are 80% paperless, however need to track client documents for those that do bring paper. We do scan them but keep them until the return is completed. Can’t wait to hear your ideas.
We are waiting to have a Karbon party to introduce it to the other members of the staff. Has anyone else did this? Have any ideas?
Yessssssss! There was Comic Con at Home that happened all 5 days this year and while the panels were very cool, it was nowhere near the same. San Diego holds so many memories as I look forward to the ceremonial summer drive out there and back again.
