Auto-Sharing - Colleagues on vacation/leave - Work arounds?

tl;dr - If auto-sharing of email is on, does Karbon handle this in the background even if the user isn’t logging in? Scenario - trying to work around not being able to ‘share’ colleagues triages/inboxes through KarbonWe currently have a colleague on leave.As a work around to not being to access their triage we have set in the back end of our email system to deliver anything addressed from colleague@ to assist@ (our shared triage)The idea behind this was that we’d be able to add job timelines on emails that come in and keep jobs moving while the colleague is away.The issue we are having here is the emails arrive in assist@ but show TO as the colleague and Karbon is treating this like a BCC. So obviously our work around doesn’t work which has lead me to thinking of it another way. We can obviously search emails in Karbon from colleagues (We all have auto-share on) and this allows me to add emails to a timeline even if I’m not the recipient. This could work for our purpose, however we are

Client Task e-mail - Modify default template & remove checklist

Hi all,We’d love to use the client tasks functionality within our firm, but have found with our first few tests clients are just replying to the email and answering the checklist items/attaching documents rather than clicking through to the portal. My questions are: Is it possible to force a login? - Our clients typically have multiple entities, forcing a login will ensure they see all open requests attached to their email at one time. Is it possible to modify the firm-wide template for client tasks to remove the preview of the checklist, this will force the client to click the link/login to see the open tasks. Is there a hack which can ‘send’ the client queries to the portal but not send an email at all to the client, we can then send a manual email directing them to login and answer the queries?

Time on Job 'Actual' doesn't balance to time sheet.

Hi all, Has anyone had an issue where the time on job doesn’t appear to balance with the time sheets?Not sure if I’m filtering incorrectly, or if this is a bug. Screen shot of ‘Budget by Team Member’ on the job with 4h 42m of actual timeTime Entry reports are only showing as 2.5hours   Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated :)

It's almost holiday time! How does everyone handle colleagues triage while they are on leave?

Happy December everyone!This will be out first end of year shutdown using Karbon and we’ll have parts of our team off on leave at different times throughout late December and all of January.I was wondering how other firms are keeping an eye on Colleagues triage and inboxes while they are on leave? Pre-Karbon we’d have delegated inbox access which works fine for emails,  and I know shared inbox access is coming (Perhaps a Chrismas present from Karbon 😉) so we can simply  jump in to emails from Gmail if the feature doesn’t arrive on time.\Triage however seems a little harder to keep an eye on, does anyone have any tips on how to handle this? Cheers

Short 'To-Do' items not connected with any work.

Hi all,This might be a really basic question, with a really obvious answer.. but here it goes.I’m wanting allocate basic to do items to team members, for internal admin tasks etc.e..g Call bank to change our address etcIs there a simple way to do this without creating dummy jobs or other work arounds?

Where to access the Bulk Work creation screen, apart from within contacts?

Hey all,We are trying to bulk add some work from a template.It appears that I can do it from the contacts screen IF all the contacts are in the same group of 50.if I go to a new page, the contacts on the previous page are unselected.  If I search for clients I can’t select the contact from the search results on the client page.Any ideas on how to:View more than 50 contacts at a time so I don’t lose my progress. Another way to access this screen which allows me to select multiple clients in an easier way.Cheers
