Best Practices for Clients with Specific Email Address Requests

Curious what your best practices are for situations where customers have specific requests for what email address you use for certain types of items. We have a number of customers that would like us to email them to their personal email addresses for specific items, and business addresses for other specific items, but it is not cut and dry. We are not emailing ‘all personal items’ to their personal email address, and ‘all business-related items’ to their business email address. This seems to be most specifically when someone else may have access to their business email address, so they want something business-related sent to their personal email address.It is quite difficult to manage these requests across customers, despite our best efforts, and aside from adding notes to every work item or the timeline there’s no super clear way to add this information that will be accessible when a colleague is emailing that customer, an inevitably we don’t do a perfect job at choosing the correct e

Best Practice for Setting Up Repeating Jobs that Contain Different Task Lists

What’s ya’lls process for setting up recurring work items that contain different task lists and/or client task requests. We need to send out different requests for quarterly jobs based on the pertinent quarter. I am struggling to find a streamlined way to have the work item set up as recurring but keep the info/requests up to date for every quarter since the information, requests, and estimate payment due dates vary so much between quarters (+ we are always tweaking our templates to improve them!).It is so cumbersome, and without the ability to drag + drop / copy from other templates we end up having to reinvent the template “wheel” every quarter and then typically resort to manually resetting each of the work items for that quarter to the updated template.There has got to be a better way! Help! 😁

Workaround for recurring semi-monthly/monthly payroll jobs

For semi-monthly and monthly payroll jobs that are due X number of days before the end of the month (depending on how they are processed, ie: Gusto, ADP) how are you working with Karbon’s limited settings to have accurate due dates so that Payrolls are not missed?Since the end of the month fluctuates (28/29/30/31) and the payrolls are due X number of days before the end of the month + avoiding weekends, there is not an accurate way to set up these types of Payroll jobs in Karbon so that the due dates are an accurate reflection of when the Payroll actually needs to be processed. This is causing us to occasionally miss payrolls, especially when our team has to fill in for other team members who are out and when they are not familiar with when the clients payroll needs to be run.What are your workarounds for recurring jobs that are due at/near the end of the month, but aren’t always due on the same day of the month?
