Anyone have prompts that work well for them when drafting emails?

Hi @max,Thank you for the feedback - this will help us prioritize our list of improvements/features for AI.For the character limit, can you please share some example prompts you are trying to use that exceed the limit?For the hallucinations, is this happening with all the prompts you have tried or only a select few?

Summarize Emails

@Rachel Cooper apologies I missed this post!I want to make sure I fully understand your question - are you asking if the AI can summarize all previous emails in a conversation even if you have only been recently forwarded the most recent email?

@Logan Baillie eventually the form’s permissions were updated so we could access 🙂 but the second page of the form has about 20 fields for email addresses, 3 of these are randomly mandatory (the first, the fourth and the second last or something), we only need to enter 2. I suggest the form be fixed and on page 2 none of the fields are mandatory. @SamG the mandatory fields have been removed - apologies for the mixup and thank you for pointing this out!

@Dee Johns I can’t see the workbooks under Intelligence. Hey @davideigner, you should have received an email from your success manager asking you to complete a form to identify who should have access to the new Intelligence tab. Once filled-out, we will be able to enable this for you. Hi @Logan Baillie Ye, I got the email a few hours later.  BTW, the form still doesnt work. Thanks @davideigner, I’ll check back with the team on why the form link isn’t working.

I noticed that the Summarize box on a thread this morning showed “Outdated” after I sent an additional email in the thread - I think clicked Summarize again and was disappointed that the ‘updated’ summary contained less useful information and just less information in general than the original ‘outdated’ summary.  FYI. @Dana Maxwell are you able to share the email thread/summary with me either here or privately?

Similar to @Dana Maxwell  When I initially replied to the email thread, then ran a summarize, the Summary didn’t include my reply for several minutes.   I wasn’t able to re-run a Summarize function.  Then ~10min later, i came back and saw this “oudated” message and the ability to run Summarize. Concerned someone could run Summarize and not have 100% of the activity in the Summary?     @leeseinmt Thank you for raising this! What was the last message you sent before creating the initial summary? Also, are you able to recreate this or has this happened one time?

First of all - LOVE THIS! I guess confirm that the summary feature will only work on emails/threads where the email is all happening in Karbon.  Case - not all our colleagues use Karbon - so when they email a client out of Outlook and then it becomes part of a thread for me in Karbon - the feature will only summarize MY involvement in the thread - or should I say - my email and email directly to me - it will not summarize information that the colleagues emailed out to a client? @Dana Maxwell the summary should work for all messages in the conversation - if you can see the email sent from your colleague to a client in Karbon and click Summarize, those should appear in the summary.

One in issue we are running into is: if I click “✨ Summarize” after a colleague leaves a comment and then later that colleague comments again, their name/profile picture aren’t displayed so it looks like an “anonymous” comment without an author.  See below:   @Whitney Saunders is this happening every time or just in this one instance?

Our team has access.  Yay!  Summarized failed on a thread with 20+ emails.  Is there a maximum thread size summarize can handle? The AI maxes out tokens on very long threads. We are aware of the issue and are working on a way to handle very long threads. Appreciate you flagging this!

Just tested it out.  We absolutely love this. It seems pretty accurate especially when the dialogue is not accompanied with side notes. Not sure its possible, but would be nice if it could ignore or not summarize confidentiality notices that some add as part of their email signature. In general, anything added to the signature of an email would be nice to leave out of the summary.   @Mike Knecht great feedback on the email signature. I’ll make sure the team is across this. As for the confidential notice, could you send me an example - either here or via email just so I know for certain what you mean

Summarize is there! Error when it was a big thread, but working on others.   Hey @Mlibbey, thank you for the feedback! We have run into some issues when working with very long email threads but are working on it.

Updates to Karbon Practice Intelligence WorkbooksBlog

Hi @Gillian Kirkman, The answer to this question depends on the specific needs of your firm. Generally, it is best to create work in advance to take advantage of features such as the ability to assign emails to and apply notes against the work timeline in advance of it commencing. However, the further in advance work is created, the greater number of items the assignee of the work would have in ‘To Plan’ within MyWeek, which can be a cause of frustration. In terms of how this cascades to KPI and the Work Outstanding or Repeating Work Workbook, work will need to be created as far in advance as you want to manage it. If you have many repeating work/tasks that are cluttering your space and causing confusion, then the period for creating work should be shorter. However, if you need visibility into the work coming next month or beyond, then you should consider creating work further in advance so you have visibility into what is coming. To update your repeating jobs, I will reach out via ema
