Is there any way to update existing work created from template when template is edited with new changes.
When we update the template, the old work is not getting updated which creates confusion, ideally there should be a way to retrospectively update created work when a template is updated.
Would be nice, but no. Work has no connection back to the template once it is created. We need to to a “bulk upload” with Karbon Support to create all new work with the new template every time we need to make a change. Very frustrating since processes change and we’ve learned over time how to improve our template to work better.

It’s possible to reset a work item to the template:
If your work is part of a repeating schedule, you’ll have the option to reset to template or reset to the previous work item.
There isn’t a way to bulk reset work to the template outside of asking Karbon for help, but we found that resetting the work before starting is a pretty easy way to bring template changes forward to the current work.
As mentioned in your other post, we have gone away from this and are experimenting with cascading work items, which worked pretty well this tax season.
