Timesheets vs Individuals time

I am having a issue in reviewing my staff’s timesheets.  Currently when I look at the Time Tab for last week it shows each persons total time and billable time.  But when I click on an employee it drops these amounts down to some other amount of time.  In one case it takes an employee from 40 hours of time and 36 billable to just 7 hours and 42 minutes with 4 hours 22 minutes of billable time.  Anyone else having this issue?

Consolidating Client Comments into One Email?

I hope your Monday is off to a smoother start than mine! Since integrating Karbon into our workflow processes, we've encountered a question regarding templates/checklists that I'd like to discuss with the community.Specifically, we've noticed that every time a client responds to a checklist item, we receive a separate email notification. While this ensures we promptly address client updates, it can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially on busy mornings like today. For instance, last Friday, I sent out several Client checklists. When I opened my Triage this morning, I was immediately overwhelmed by numerous comments across multiple checklists.We're wondering if there's a way to consolidate these client responses into a single email, rather than receiving multiple emails for each individual response. This would significantly streamline our communication process, reduce clutter in our Triage, and help us maintain organization. Currently, I am in the process of sifting through all the em

Individual Tasks

Hello,  New to Karbon.  It is pretty intuitive thus far although I am wondering if there is a way to see the individual items due for each day in the kanban view?  I can see when the full work item is due, which is 2 weeks from now, but I would like to be able to see the daily items.  Is there a particular filter or view to achieve this? Thank you!

Text messaging in Karbon

Does anyone have a solution to add text messaging into Karbon?  We would like to see client texts sent to our phones come into the triage just like email and be able to respond via Karbon.

Karbon Time

Is it possible to have 2 karbon timers running at the same time?  I would love to know if I can run a timer to capture when I start working and when I end for the day (like a daily time clock).

Creating Work specific to me in Karbon

I’m brand new to Karbon so please forgive me if this question is a bit basic but I’m looking to embrace the system and live in at as much as I can!  To that end I’m trying to replicate my to do list (currently on One-Note) in Karbon.  The issues I have are:I can’t for the life of me work out how to create a recurring task.  I know you can because I’ve seen the screen previously but whenever I try and set up a new piece of “work” it doesn’t seem to be an option. How do I create a piece of work that isn’t assigned to a client (as applies to most of my work given I’m the Founder / Commercial Director)?  Again, when I try and create a new piece of “work” I can’t seem to do so until I have filled in the “Client” field.Any help would be much appreciated!Thank you in advance!

Add and access organization address, phone number, and email address via API

CC when Replying

In the past couple of days, whenever I reply, my email gets added to the “to” field.  Therefore I get a copy of my own email.  Does anyone have a fix for this?  It takes extra seconds to either delete my name in the “to” field, or clear it from my inbox when it ends back in my triage.   Thanks!

Updating an existing recurring Task Name

When a recurring task is created can you update the name without the task rolling the updated name?example: 1040 - 2023    This recurring task will roll to 1040 - 2024. If you update the name add $$ at the end, will this task roll with the $$?example: 1040 - 2023 $$     Will this roll to 1040 - 2024 $$

Spam Emails not in Outlook

I have noticed I have emails showing in my triage that are not showing in my outlook? I have check the spam/junk account and they don’t show there in outlook either.Any idea where these have come from and why they would show in Karbon triage?

Updating work with new templates

Is there any way to update existing work created from template when template is edited with new changes. When we update the template, the old work is not getting updated which creates confusion, ideally there should be a way to retrospectively update created work when a template is updated.

Is there a way to turn off all automators on work items

We created work from template which had automators to update status and assignee. Due to some changes , we created new templates. Now the old automators are causing confusions. Is there any setting/ option which we can enable to pause automators on some work type or for templates?We will need to do these on bulk so can’t turn off automators by going into each work item.

Auto-Sharing - Colleagues on vacation/leave - Work arounds?

tl;dr - If auto-sharing of email is on, does Karbon handle this in the background even if the user isn’t logging in? Scenario - trying to work around not being able to ‘share’ colleagues triages/inboxes through KarbonWe currently have a colleague on leave.As a work around to not being to access their triage we have set in the back end of our email system to deliver anything addressed from colleague@ to assist@ (our shared triage)The idea behind this was that we’d be able to add job timelines on emails that come in and keep jobs moving while the colleague is away.The issue we are having here is the emails arrive in assist@ but show TO as the colleague and Karbon is treating this like a BCC. So obviously our work around doesn’t work which has lead me to thinking of it another way. We can obviously search emails in Karbon from colleagues (We all have auto-share on) and this allows me to add emails to a timeline even if I’m not the recipient. This could work for our purpose, however we are

RingCentral and outbound text integration

We currently integrate RingCentral texts with Karbon.  This works well for inbound texts.  The texts come into RingCentral, they are passed to Karbon triage just like any other email, and then we put them on a client timeline. [We use Office 365 for our email accounts].Is there a way to set up Karbon, RingCentral, or a third party app (without a lot of headache!) to pass outbound texts sent from RingCentral into Karbon’s Triage?  A solution for this, combined with the new Karbon Triage sharing feature, would close the loop on distributing all client communications in our office via Karbon.

Email Attachments

We cannot see the attachments to our emails until we have added more than one or two attachments. We can see the attachments only after we send the email. This is resulting in attachments being added twice.  I anyone else having this issue?

Email Delegation

Hi  I need an employee to send an email on my behalf (but make it look like it’s coming from me) and when the client respond it needs to go into my triage (inbox) and not theirs. I know you can do this sort of thing with delegates in Gmail and I though Karbon was designing a process for this - can someone please tag me in this if it is in working now?

I did not go into Karbon to send the email, I sent it from Gmail. However, when I go to my Triage, it is not there. How do I add it to the client’s Karbon timeline? Thanks

Sending Clients Sensitive Documents

I’m a newbie and getting confused. I want to send my client a draft profit & loss and balance sheet.  I don’t wish to send it via Docusign.  I was hoping I could utilise the client portal somehow and notify them to download or read them from Karbon. Is that possible? Thank you :)

Folders/Grouping in My Week

Would any one happen to know if there is any way to group items in My Week together in folders or something similar. I need to switch between clients quite frequently and at the moment am individually moving 3 to 7 items into the “Working on Now” section every time I switch to a different client. Hoping there is some way to group items together under client name so that I could move all items as one rather than individually.
