Using TSheets with the new Time & Budgets feature

Are you looking to utilize TSheets together with Karbon’s new Time & Budgets functionality? 

As part of our Time & Budgets release, we have upgraded our integration with TSheets. In order to use the two together, you will need to have custom fields turned on in TSheets to record time against roles and tasks types. 

Where the ‘Time’ Tab initially was, we now have a ‘Time & Budgets’ tab. This can be found on both a contact view as well as the work view. The ‘Time & Budgets’ tab will show you information such as: 

  • Budgets by team member

  • Time entered

  • Expenses

I’d love to hear if anyone in the UK is using TSheets for billing & if so, do you rate it?

We are 95% fixed fee, so only need to send out bills based on timesheets for a handful of clients each month.  We have traditionally used Xero Practice Manager for this and am looking to replace that with Karbon timesheets…

Is the Karbon/QuickBooks Time integration a one way sync from Karbon to QBT?

Assuming that is it, I am just trying to understand the “mechanics”.

If I set it up to only sync Client Contacts.  The Client may have multiple pieces of work.  All time logged in any of those POW will sync over the QBT to that client.  Is that correct?

Finally, can I track time and budget in Karbon without integrating with QBT?

Would love for Karbon to be able to provide time reports similar to T-Sheets.  We are using Karbon to track all of our time for internal payroll paid semi-monthly.  Karbon will only report on a calendar week.  Each employee has to download 3 weeks of reports and then manipulate the information to obtain the correct payroll period.  We also then do calculations by day and convert the minutes to hours and portion of hours.  Further manipulation of data for PTO, Holidays, and other payroll items is also required.

Karbon should allow you to select a date range, at least.  Further summaries by work, role and task type would be nice and easily obtainable, I believe.

Hi @Steven J Wick - have you searched through the existing feature requests? There are quite a few related to timesheets and data exports that you could add your vote to.
