The most common roadblocks we seem to face is the non responsive client.  How do I know which templates are the most effective for the use of Client Tasks?

If your firm emails your clients and spends a great deal of time reminding these clients, client tasks are great. You can save tons of time from chasing clients, as client tasks have the ability to automatically send reminders. In most templates, client tasks are applicable to get initial information needed to start, chase down missing information after it is discovered, and to provide closure to the client that the activity or job has been completed.

You can add a client task to any template.  On your task tab of the work item, a client task can be added by clicking on the three dots of a current task and adding one above or below that task.  You can also add a client task by going to the bottom of the task list and choosing add client section.  If it is not where you want it, you can drag and drop it anywhere in your work item.  Be careful if you have automators in your work item and adjust if needed.

If you add the client task to your work templates, you can set-up the task to automatically send a specific amount of days after the work item is created.  We do this for tax documents.  The task is created to begin on January 1st and an automatic email is sent 40 days later in February requesting they send in their tax documents.  You can then have the reminders set to custom and send them every 7 days or 14 days.

If the task is being added to a current work item, you can send it now or choose a date in the future.  If it is part of a repeating work item, you can choose to have this carried over to future work items.
