If you prefer to see the items assigned to you in a particular order, one option would be to move around your items by using the Drag & Drop option within your Sorting Slider.

You can then hold on to those items and drag and drop them into the order you prefer, keep in mind that it might be also helpful to further filter your view so that you’re looking at just the items that need to be taken care of.

Has anyone else found their favorite way prioritizing their To-do view? If so, what do you do?

I love drag and drop, but it drives me crazy.

If you click away from your to-do list, Karbon forgets the drag and drop order you just spent 10 minutes organizing, and you have to do it again.

Infuriating.

Any tips for dealing with this?

Great topic. I enjoy batching tasks, so I prefer sorting by Client Name. This allows me to work through all tasks associated with 1 client, without my focus and mindset needing to shift. Especially helpful when returning from vacation. For example, you have on your mind you need to catch up with XYZ Client, you can sort to-dos by that client name and batch through everything for that client.

I use Drag and Drop all the time and love it - it’s much easier to help me prioritise important tasks from not so important ones. :relaxed: Sorting by client name is also very useful to see if there are a few tasks that can be done in one go.

Just FYI, the issue I highlighted above still exists. I’ve brought this up with my Karbon rep. Any update on when the Drag and Drop function on the To-Do list will be improved?

I love the drag and drop feature in the To-Dos and My Week View.  I usually have this open on a separate window tab or even a separate screen.  That way I can come back to the list without having to redo it.  I usually have minimum of two to three Karbon windows open at any given time.  Love being able to click back and forth between screens to complete tasks.

I would love to be able to drag and drop within my to-do list which is sorted by due date. This would allow me to prioritise tasks within my day. We use the to-do list extensively in our business and EVERYTHING is good about it other than this small shortcoming.

Is there a way to drag and drop multiple items at once?
