Triage - clearing email in triage vs outlook

When I clear an email from Triage it is deleted from Outlook.  Outlook  loses the history on the email and it is not showing in trash or any other folder that i can see. It’s basically gone. I like a clean slate but this is odd to me. To lose the ability to find the email in my main email source is not good.Any thoughts on this?

Sending one off emails

Looking for a solution to email clients for reasons not part of a workflow.  i run into situations that i need to notify clients for some reason or another.  Most of the time is wrapped around a work type.  An example would be that need to email payroll clients in New York about upcoming min wage increase.  Right now I’m exporting the entire contact list and workflow separately. i then i use a formula to match the client code in both files to pulling the email address.  The process always takes me about a hour to send an email.

Null emails

We ran into an issue with a client task on year 2 of a repeat workflow.  The client email was sent out last year and we see it in the comment history from last year.  This year, some but not all of the emails did not go out because the client contact email was missing.  I’m trying to understand how the contact email can be dropped from one year to the next.  I can understand human error but this was more then just a few.

Exporting organizations with contact details

I’m currently exporting out the contact the list for the organizations.  The export does not include all of the “contact detail” included in the organization’s detail tab.Unless I’m missing something all of the other contact information (ie address) exports. The only field not exporting is the email.  Is anyone able to export emails for the organization contact only. thank you

Automated emails to clients if extension is required

I’m looking for a way to send an automated email to client IF an extension is required for planned work.The work would start on 1/1 with a planned as work status. i would like to have the client emailed after a certain number of day if the work status is still has a work status of planned.  Is this possible?
