To-Do vs My Week vs Work

Hey Everyone, Our firm is having some difficulty determining where we should be looking to see outstanding work for our team. We are using some iteration of To-Do, My Week, and Work as each one of them some benefits as well as their shortfalls. To-DoThis is what we have everyone use as it has the ability to list all tasks at a granular level. Our work item set up isn’t task heavy. Anything that can be done in one sitting is listed as one task with multiple steps in the description. What we do not like about To-Do is that you cannot get a total time budget allocation for all tasks in a given time period nor is it guaranteed that they will all show up on the client profile as work completed for a client. Example would be small tasks that were assigned from emails and not attached to a work item are not visible as items that were completed for a client when we are assessing how much out of scope work we do for a client throughout the year. My Week We have not yet been confident enough in

Productivity Tracking

Hey All, I am hoping to gain insight into tracking team member productivity. Within Work insights, it is very work item oriented. We are very task focused and our work items pass from person to person based on the amount of steps necessary (tax prep, bookkeeping, advisory, etc) so it is not the best place to look to see how much a team member is or is not producing.We would like to see something that can show the amount of tasks completed over a period of time, how many of those were completed on time, and how many of them were re-assigned and completed by someone else. We would like to be able to sort by team member, by client, and by work type.We do not use time entries whatsoever because we found that it often became a time suck itself to make sure people were completing time sheets as well as them not being entirely accurate.Has anyone been successful inside of Karbon or using something else as a compliment to Karbon to track productivity through tasks?Thanks for any input. -Jarett

Bookkeeping Work Item Best Practice

Hey everyone - Our firm has been with Karbon for about 2 years and we are retooling some of our processes as well as work items as we’ve grown and we are looking for some insight into some best practices when it comes to our Bookkeeping work items. For the majority of our client base, we do quarterly financials - very rarely do we have monthly calls with monthly financials. We want to have the work done monthly so workflow is more predictable on a monthly basis as currently most work items are just set up for quarterly write up and then a financial statement prep in the same work item with multiple steps. We have thought of three ways to get this done while trying to cause the least confusion. Option 1 - Create a monthly repeating bookkeeping work item that just has reconciliation work and then create a separate repeating work item for quarterly financial statement prep. In the quarterly financial statement prep, the first step would be for the bookkeeper to check off that all 3 months
