When My Week cards move out of Done back into My Week

Looking for some My Week process suggestions! We are pretty new to My Week, so as we start using it we’re encountering scenarios we hadn’t anticipated!Key points of our processes:The Work Assignee for us stays consistent through the whole process of completing the piece of work Each piece of work generally has three people involved - a preparer, a reviewer, and a final senior review before the work is delivered to the client Some types of work will have a couple of touch points for the preparer and reviewer Current ownership of work is based on the status (e.g. Initial Preparation means the work is currently with the Preparer, when the status changes to Client Blocker it’s owned by our client success team to follow up on etc.)Problem:Once a preparer has completed their first set of tasks, it makes sense for them to move the card into the Done bucket, but based on this page, a change in Status is not a trigger for a card to move back out of Done and into This Week. Ignition + Karbon integration questions

We’re exploring integrating Karbon and Ignition again. Is there anyone who has the integration enabled and would be able to answer some questions from a colleague? She’s got some questions about how it works with regards to budgets, billing and fixed fee vs. time and materials work.Additionally, any best practices when integrating would be helpful! We’ve integrated before and weren’t diligent with contact names so caused lots of duplicates, and ended up disabling the integration. What else should we be aware of/limitations?

Expense processing - what tools do you love ❤️ (and which should we avoid)?

We currently use Dext and have been for quite some time but we’re becoming more and more frustrated by the simple things it can’t do and lack of product development. Thought I’d crowd-source from the community what other options are out there!We’ve used HubDoc previously, and unfortunately there are many frustrating limitations with that as well (and also lack of product development) so that’s off the table for us as an option.A couple of others I’ve come across and will look at testing are Veryfi and AutoEntry by Sage. We’ve also been told the QBO receipt capture tool is being improved. I don’t believe it’s near what we would need at this stage, but if you currently use it I’d love to hear from you too!

Training for clients on Client Tasks

Does anyone have or know of a publicly available video or training materials that can be provided to clients showing how to use/operate client tasks? There’s this page in the support knowledge base, but it’s written from the perspective of a Karbon user, not a client. Managing/Tracking internal compliance of Karbon features

I’m looking for some suggestions about tracking internal Karbon usage. I am discussing with my Karbon CS rep too, but I thought I’d crowdsource some other ideas! ContextWe’ve spent a lot of time recently documenting how we use Karbon and our internal best practices/expectations, and this month everyone in the firm is completing our own Karbon training. As part of this, we want to be able to track and follow up with team members who are struggling to meet our targets.We don’t currently use Email Insights or Intelligence, so I’m hoping to also get some feedback from those who are using it that would help me build a business case if need be. KPIs I’m hoping to track!Triage (these are available in Insights I believe - what (if any) details can be exported? Is this available in the API to push into a spreadsheet?)Volume of email in Triage ​​​​​​​Ideally the amount at EOD for each user, and then a daily EOD average across the month ​​​​​​​Average days notifications are in Triage in a calend

Tools for streamlining client onboarding!

Hi team! We’re starting a project to review and streamline our client onboarding processes, so hoping to get some ideas of possible tools we could look at to support this! They would of course need to fit into our Karbon workflow 😃Some other context/questions:We use Ignition so looking at this integration is already on the list We only do bookkeeping/payroll - no YE taxes! What do you use to gather client details/data? What tools do you use to help review the quality of prior bookkeeping work and identifying what cleanup or catchup might be needed? How do you summarise/track/take meeting notes with new clients as you learn about them? Suggestions for creating/managing balance sheet working papers/reconciliation tools - e.g. prepaid schedules, fixed asset tracking etc. Understanding client’s current processes Clients mostly on QBO (or will be migrated to QBO), some XeroLooking for off the shelf tools - we don’t have anyone who could do fun API things!
