Karbon Side Menu

Before yesterday afternoon the side menu was always visible and I had the option to click on the X and hide it.  Now the menu never appears and in order to see it I have to click the 3 bars at the top left.  I don know what happened that changed it and I don’t see a way to change this.  Can anyone help.  Thank you.

Best Practices for Clients with Specific Email Address Requests

Curious what your best practices are for situations where customers have specific requests for what email address you use for certain types of items. We have a number of customers that would like us to email them to their personal email addresses for specific items, and business addresses for other specific items, but it is not cut and dry. We are not emailing ‘all personal items’ to their personal email address, and ‘all business-related items’ to their business email address. This seems to be most specifically when someone else may have access to their business email address, so they want something business-related sent to their personal email address.It is quite difficult to manage these requests across customers, despite our best efforts, and aside from adding notes to every work item or the timeline there’s no super clear way to add this information that will be accessible when a colleague is emailing that customer, an inevitably we don’t do a perfect job at choosing the correct e

Un-billable time tracking

Hi all,Just a quick query on how people track un-billable non-client related time within Karbon.  With the advent of staff working from home due to COVID mandates in our area I’m keen to track all work undertaken by staff, not just the billable elements and not just those related to specific client work (billable or otherwise).  Any suggestions as to how this is handled that would be greatly appreciated.

changing email subject line

Can you change an email subject line in an email that is responded to in triage? Example client sends email with no subject. When I reply I want to add a proper subject line. Can I change the email subject line?

Timesheet periods in Karbon

Hi,I was wondering if there is a way of changing the timesheet periods in Karbon so they line up with our payroll periods?  At present the system shows the current period Jan 10 - Jan16 2022 but I would rather have the period commence for the current period today 13 Jan to coincide with our payroll period.

Printing Emails

Hello! I opened the “...” button but do not seem to have a print feature for my emails. Has anyone else encountered this? Is there an easy remedy? Thanks!Allison

Repeating Work on 1st of the month

Can anyone provide a workaround regarding work repeating at the beginning of each month?  As number of days vary between each month, when the repeating work is created, it falls within the existing month instead of the new month.  For example, month end process - created on 1/10/21 but when repeating, it appears on 31/12/21 instead of 1/1/22.The Help desk have advised that I will be unable to set a fixed date which will give me consistent results and to add this as a feature request.What are other people doing instead?
