Hey @drich208! We temporarily removed the merge contact feature as we found some issues with it. We’ll be adding it back later this month. Sorry for the confusion here. I’ve added a note in the original post.

You have two accounts linked to your email and your numbers were incorrectly taken from your less-used account. Can you try again using the same link? It should look much better!

Introduction to My Week in Karbon

Why does this show up 5 mins in? I was also prompted like this. My assumption is that Karbon is trying to get an idea about who is watching their webinars, because they focus on client feedback to guide future decisions. I assume it’s related to that general effort. Hmm.. Would make sense if on a general page, but I’m logged into the community and clicked the link to get there from the mailout, so they already know who I am, where I’m going and what I’m watching Hi Sam (and Max), that’s a very fair question. We ask for details on most of our webinar recordings so that we know who is watching and also in this particular case, so that we can keep the viewers to existing Karbon users, as this webinar was intended for customers only. But I completely understand that this feels like an unnecessary step when you are already logged in to the Community. Unfortunately the platform we use to host our videos does not speak to our Community platform, so it doesn’t

Hi @Debbie Brown , that sounds strange. I’m sure it’s a simple setting or change that you need to make, but it’s a bit tricky to diagnose without some more context and maybe a screenshot or two. Would you mind contacting out support team (you can access the live chat via our Help & Feedback option in the main menu of Karbon). If you provide them with some detail on this, they’ll be able to assist and get this sorted right away.

WANTED: Webinar panelists to review the year in accounting

I think Antoniya Beyriyska from Ask the BOSS would be great at this - she has overseen the transformation of the team going to 100% virtual and also has seen what all clients are now asking for. She would also be a great and unique speaker as she is not an accountant (gasp) and so would provide a different viewpoint. Thanks for the suggestion, Heather! We actually have a full panel now for this webinar that’s scheduled for next week: https://karbonhq.com/resources/2020-in-review-accounting-part-2/However, we’d love to have Antoniya on a different session early next year—I have an idea already that she’s be perfect for! WANTED: Webinar panelists to review the year in accounting

I would like to put David Dinardo’s name forward (nope, I did not ask him but I am sure he would be game!). David is all about growth for Envolta and his passion will definitely come through on the panel you are planning. At Envolta we have made a number of changes over the last few months to set us up for the changes, trends and challenges we see coming. We are 90% virtual with team members across Canada and team members working from locations outside of Canada on extended travel. @Victoria Peters Ian and I had actually thought of David. We’d love to have him as a panelist. We’ll be reaching out to him later this week!

Hi everyone! Lachie here, I’m the Head of Marketing at Karbon, where I’ve worked for nearly 5 years now. It’s quite scary how quickly the time has flown. I’m responsible for our brand, content, website, and all other activities that help drive interest in Karbon. My favourite part of my job is that despite working from home in Mornington, Australia (a small-ish town by the beach, outside of Melbourne), I get to work with a great team and speak every day to customers from all over the world. That’s one of the reasons I’m so excited that we have finally launched this community! I’m really looking forward to getting to know you all a lot better.I love my sport, particularly Aussie Rules football and cricket, which I know will be foreign to a lot of you! And I’ve been running quite a bit during our COVID lockdown. Though there is no way that I would come close to beating 15-year old @Stuart McLeod over 1500m!
