Originally from July 4, 2021 Two highly-requested updates have been released to Karbon: internal comments on Client Tasks, and the ability to add a note to multiple timelines. Internal comments on Client TasksClient Tasks are an easy way to collaborate, communicate and share documents with your clients. Now, you can have internal discussions with team members against these tasks too. And critically, clearly distinguish between what your client can see, and what they cannot.A new option can be found at the top of every new Client Task comment. Toggle between Internal to leave a comment just for your team's eyes, and External to share with your client. To make it absolutely clear what can be seen by your client, external comments will always appear in pink. While internal comments appear in the blue that you're familiar with on all other comments throughout Karbon.Add a note to multiple timelinesYou can now add an internal note against more than one work timeline. Simply choose the Add To
Multi-select in TriageYou now have greater control when clearing items in bulk from Triage, with the ability to individually select and then bulk clear.Bulk clearing items by time grouping (i.e. ‘today’, ‘yesterday’, ‘October’, etc.) has been updated with the ability to hand-pick the exact items you want to clear using a multi select checkbox. For example, if you wanted to clear all items from October except two emails, you can select all items from October with one click, and then simply deselect the two emails (rather than having to individually clear each item from October, except the two emails). Add a note directly to My WeekAfter the successful roll out of My Week to all Karbon users, it has received a minor update. You can now create and assign a note directly from the ‘This Week’ section in My Week. It will automatically appear in your ‘This Week’.If you create a note from outside My Week, such as with the global + icon in the top right anywhere in the Karbon app, you will need

Updates to multi selectYou can now bulk select multiple items that are listed together in Triage or My Week with fewer clicks.Select the top item, hold Shift and select the bottom item, and all items in between will be selected too. In Triage, this means greater control with bulk-clearing, and in My Week, you now have more flexibility over how you plan and manage your work.Check out Karbon's other keyboard shortcuts here. Drag and dropLast week, we released Document Management and in this release, we’ve given you the ability to drag and drop files directly into Karbon.
