When Moving Items in My Week Cursor Jumps to Different Location

If I have 50 items in This Week and I’m trying to move them around, each time I click on one of them to move, the cursor jumps me to a different location in the list of pending items.  I would like it if it would stay where I scrolled to so that I can move quickly through the list.  Having to scroll back to where I was each time I move something is an annoying time waster.  Does anyone know how to fix this?  I’m hoping it’s a setting and not a glitch.  Thanks!
