New Client Leads

I have leads coming in to my website. I want a way to track them in Karbon and make a client manager point on this. What are other firms using to track potential clients in the workflow?

We have a Sales Pipeline work template in Karbon and a contact type called Prospect 🙂

When we get a lead we add the email address as a Prospect Contact in Karbon and create a Sales Pipeline work item assigned to that contact to be able to assign emails to the timeline and tag colleagues on the tasks.

The details probably aren't mine to share as IP was created by others, but the gist of it is:

1. Lead is called and screened by admin (regarding minimum fee etc)

2. If appropriate a meeting is booked with a manager or principal.

3. Proposal/quote is drafted and sent.

4. Proposal is negotiated.

5. Accepted or declined (won or lost).

There are statuses for each of these steps so we know at what stage the prospect is at in the pipeline.
