I have a couple questions regarding the client portalIs there a way to have old documents that I upload show for the client? Is there a way for clients to upload documents without a task assigned? Is there a way to have a generic upload box so I can include it in my email footer for people to upload documents?
I am finding that in My Week some of the work that has the same status is showing up under duplicated statuses. The work is not duplicated, but some work is showing up under the status in one section and some with the same status in another section. Any thoughts as to why this is happening?
My boss wants me to have access to his email account in Karbon (as well as mine) so that I can take over the admin tasks from him and create work for both of us so that he isn’t bogged down with this side of the business.I have read the best practice suggestions to create an alias and add that to the MS 365 settings - my concern is that we don’t want a general/alias email. We want clients to still be able to send emails to him rather than an alias address. Is there a way to do this other than adding his email to my Karbon account.
I’d love to have our AML checks and client risk assessments showing in Karbon - perhaps on the client’s contact details section? This may involve integration with Companies House - adding all client data automatically by entering the business registration number, like name, address, Annual Accounts periods, Confirmation Statement due date, Directors and Shareholders. Based on this and any changes on Companies House, we can generate and set up our Annual Accounts work in Karbon (for automation) and run AML client ID verifications. We recently started using a platform called Yoti for this and it’s fantastic and very user friendly (also from the client’s perspective).
Hey all,We are trying to bulk add some work from a template.It appears that I can do it from the contacts screen IF all the contacts are in the same group of 50.if I go to a new page, the contacts on the previous page are unselected. If I search for clients I can’t select the contact from the search results on the client page.Any ideas on how to:View more than 50 contacts at a time so I don’t lose my progress. Another way to access this screen which allows me to select multiple clients in an easier way.Cheers
Forgive me if this has been asked before. I’ve looked through the discussions and I haven’t found it.I am trying to add a time entry (on the “Add Time Entry” window). I have selected the “Work”, but the “Role” dropdown is empty. I have confirmed there are multiple Roles set up for the particular work type and I am assigned as the Manager on the work item. Does anyone know why there are no Roles in the dropdown?Thanks.
We are trying to change how some tasklist automators are set up for repeating work items. I checked Karbon’s website, and automators aren’t on the list of info that is carried forward to future work items. Is there a way to edit the automators on repeating work items so that future work items also reflect the change?

Hi everyone,Just wondering if there is a way to change client details - specifically client category. Under the contact - Details- client Basics- client categoryClient Category is currently being shown as Organisations, and it is meant to be Individual. However, I cannot seem to edit this when I press edit. Does anyone know how to change this within the client details? Any help is appreciated.
Hi Everyone - we are about to being our Karbon implementation and have been discussing how Karbon integrates with QBO for time and billing purposes. Our thought was to track and input time in Karbon then use the QB time integration to be able to actually do our billing in QBO. We are wondering if this is currently the best approach and if there are any best practices or pitfalls we should avoid here? We don’t necessarily bill according to the time but do track time on a project basis and plan to continue that in Karbon. We are a tax heavy firm but also have a lot of fixed fee monthly or quarterly billing. All our other accounting for our firm is already being done in QBO. We also use Ignition for proposals but may not use that integration at first. We were also curious of any overall tips or potential things to avoid as we work through out implementation to avoid any headaches down the road. Any insight would be appreciated, thanks!

Is there a way to disable the ability to send client task requests from emails that are not the current user's?
I was wondering if there was a way to remove the ability to change who the client task request is sent from? I do not want people to be able to send emails from accounts that are not their own. Thanks in advance.
Hello everyone, I have noticed for quite some time that many, if not all, of our Work Items show “Karbon Support” under visibility section as an entity that can see details related to the Work Item on which they’re listed. I’ve got three questions related to this: 1. Do all users see this “extra” user on Work Items?2. Why is this the case?3. Does this mean that Karbon support has access to this level of detail within our work products? Thank you and be well,Angeline
We’d like to create more of a true triage/helpdesk style client service with Karbon. Have any of you done this? We want clients to email a single email, have emails sent from a single email but with signatures of each user and the ability to assign tasks to each user. Is this possible?
