Adding 1 Gmail to Karbon

I did not go into Karbon to send the email, I sent it from Gmail. However, when I go to my Triage, it is not there. How do I add it to the client’s Karbon timeline? Thanks

Text messaging in Karbon

Does anyone have a solution to add text messaging into Karbon? We would like to see client texts sent to our phones come into the triage just like email and be able to respond via Karbon.

Where is the To-Do List Feature in Karbon?

Hello Karbon Community,I've encountered a puzzling issue regarding the To-Do List feature. Despite watching videos and reading articles about how to use the To-Do List, I can't seem to find it anywhere within Karbon.I was particularly excited about this feature when we were initially looking into getting Karbon, as it seemed like a powerful tool for task management. However, it's been challenging to utilize something that appears to be missing entirely from our platform.I'm wondering if the To-Do List feature has been removed or if there's a specific setting that needs to be enabled for our company to access it. All the resources I've come across only explain how to use the feature without addressing where to find it or how to enable it.Could someone please clarify if the To-Do List feature still exists in Karbon? Effective Triage Clearing

We recently started to use Karbon as our Go-To. While it’s been fantastic so far, a tiny hiccup has appeared for some of the staff. When we had our Outlook added to Karbon some of the staff that have been here an exceptional amount of time find ALL their emails have merged over throughout the years. One of our staff presently has 17,000+ items in triage, is there a way to simply wipe away all BUT the current year without combing through hours of emails to not accidentally remove present year emails?

How do you enter a contact with multiple contact types?

How do you enter a contact with multiple contact types? We have Customer and Professional Alliance as contact types. Often Professional Alliances are also Customers and Customers are also Professional Alliances. How do you all manage something like this. Up to this point the Customer Contact types is given preference in our contacts.

Time off in lieu (TOIL

How are your team recording their TOIL of their Karbon timesheets? I need to devise a system for staff to record their time off in lieu. A system we came up with in our last time recording software was to record negative time to a code. For example, if someone worked one extra hour in a day they log all time that day to a client/work item as usual then they would log ‘-1’ hour to the TOIL code, then, when they wanted to take the time off they would log it to the same code and they could run their own report against this code to track. We can’t log negative time in Karbon, so I’m wondering what others do? The best I can come up with is for everyone to keep a TOIL note at the bottom of their timesheets each week (e.g. brought forward hours +/- this weeks hours) but it’s a bit of a faff ! Do you have or have you seen any better solutions? Many thanksEmily

Once a task is completed - how can a colleague be alerted that it has been completed?

Once a task is completed in a work flow - which has an automator set to change the work status to ‘completed’ - is there any way of alerting a colleague that is has been completed - sort of an automator that can email a colleague?

Time Entry & Capacity Management

I'd like to expand the functionality and quality of our capacity management data. One of the things that is a struggle right now is the ‘total capacity’ data in Karbon is fixed and hard to change. Most of our team is part time and hourly, with some fluctuation in total hours worked each week. Not a huge deviation from week to week, but enough of a difference to warrant a change to the ‘total capacity’ data in Karbon each week. I would especially like to see time worked vs time paid on a specific day. There are times when this could be very helpful when job-costing specific clients, projects, etc.Here are my thoughts:Each week my data manager will have to export the colleague utilization report and edit the total capacity field with the data from our timetracker(in our case, Gusto) Then from there, we can truly assess how much time was paid vs. time worked inside of a client work We bill fixed/value-based fees only, so we’re only interested in realization rate, not necessarily the bi

Searching for External Comments

If you are tasked with searching for external comments for a client what do you do? Really any comments that could be buried on a work item seem to be lost unless you look through each task or client task. Does anyone have a good way of managing this?Does anyone know of a way to do a keyword search of comments?

Timestamp for emails - complete date

Regarding emails in the work flow, is it possible to show the complete date? For example, an email that shows “yesterday” is perfectly clear in Karbon but it is ambiguous as audit support.

Unable to Void Invoice

We have exported a invoice from Karbon to Xero. However we would like to amend the invoice and we are trying to void the invoice.Karbon wont void the invoice and keeps putting up notice that it is unable to void the invoice.Any advice??

Finding External Comments From a Client

When a client responds to a client request, the person sending the client request is the only person who gets notified in Triage when a response has been sent by the client. (When that notification is cleared from Triage, it does not stay on the timeline).How do we find responses to client requests without going into each and every work item and client request?
